One nice afternoon and a wedding of a good friend. A perfect autumn day and a view from the hill where the church is located.
I was observing the Sun playing with the clouds, in the moments shining in its full glory and in the moments hiding behind the clouds or tree branches.
We also do this with our own “light”. We have our moments when the light is full on, we laugh, we are in the mood, we are productive and proactive, we are grateful and generous, nice and kind. And then, the clouds arrive and we become moody and tough on ourselves and others, and we tend to forget about the light behind the clouds.
The light has never disappeared. Sometimes, it is even more beautiful when observed thorough the obstacles. Our own shadows become luminous and we can enjoy the interplay between the darkness and light, day and night, strong and weak.
Autumn is here, and we savor each and every moment of sunshine and warmness on our faces, knowing it won’t last forever. Then, when winter and more gloomy days come, you will know the glow is somewhere beneath, hidden, and waiting for the right moment to rise.
“The light has never disappeared. Sometimes, it is even more beautiful when observed thorough the obstacles. Our own shadows become luminous and we can enjoy the interplay between the darkness and light, day and night, strong and weak.” Now there is a powerful meditation!
